Here in Ontario it’s time to put away the heavy winter sweaters and get the light sweaters out of storage. Just like coats (winter coat, WINTER coat and WINTER WINTER coat) – we Canadians need more that one level of warmth when it comes to sweaters. And with a big sigh we can shed the really heavy, bulky ones and make way for sweaters that take us from spring days to cool summer nights.
I have put together three looks all including a simple white sweater. This classic item can go from day to night, from casual to dressy. Links to the items (or similar ones) are provided below each pic. Cheers to warmer weather!
If you go out to work or if you are getting dressed for video meetings, stay cool but professional in this look. Cropped, pink sailor pants will keep you cool as the weather warms. The classic navy blazer because, layers. Nude open-toed pumps keep it cool and professional. Accessorize with white flower earings and pink and white necklace.
Couldn’t we all use a weekend getaway? Cropped jeans, roll them up when it’s warm and down when it’s cool. These sandals are flats, so they’re comfy but the print (love) takes it up a notch. Keep the sun off with a hat that is packable, and bring along neutral tortise shell earings that go with everything. Cottage here we come!
I can’t wait to take these shoes out on the town! In a casual world, I still like to glam it up a bit with the accessories. Dark wash skinny jeans are a dressy staple (for us older girls who still wear skinny jeans and don’t part our hair in the middle) wrap to keep you cozy, but it’s the earings, bracelet, hair bow, shoes and red lipstick that really bring this look home.
