I always say if you want to make and outfit dressier, just add big earrings. A mantra to live by n’est-ce pas? I believe the same rule applies to festive dressing. I find that most occasions have become more casual but even so, this time of year and holidays parties require (or make you want) something just a bit more. So here is my suggestion on how to do just that. It’s pretty simple really, “Add big earrings and heels”. Take that to the bank! Ha! To elaborate, here is my take on how to make everyday outfits festive…
- Add big earrings
- Add some sparkle (with accessories or layer under a jacket or sweater)
- Add heels
- Add some red green or a festive plaid
Below I have added beaded chandelier earrings, a beaded hairband and a belt with a bit of gold. Nothing too over the top, these accessories still work with a simple sweater and jeans. I also added cute leopard print mules (these are on sale so sizes are limited, so if you love them, don’t delay) Links are below if you want to pick something up for your holiday gatherings!
