My son is heading back to college this fall, (sniff). I will miss him but, since this year he will need a desk, I am shopping to ease the pain. Below is a round-up of inexpensive desks that would suit a young man. Nothing stuffy, nothing frilly, with enough space for two (why?) monitors and something light because I suspect we are going to be moving this sucker more times that we’d like. I noticed that I have a type. Clearly, I see “masculine” as black metal, reclaimed wood and simplicity…I have also been looking on Facebook marketplace and a local swap site but I am including items you can find if you wish.

I would choose the reclaimed wood and metal one. Looking at a similar bed tray table for laptops. $50 or less on amazon
The reclaimed wood looks the most stylish but I would probably choose the single pedestal desk to give him a little storage space too. And I couldn’t live without two monitors anymore – it’s the best!!
