Meet Tilly

Spread the love

Meet Tilly, the latest addition to our family! Isn’t she sweet? We met her at the Grey-Bruce Animal Shelter, seen above. I loved the set up for the cats, which you can see some of. The cats have a nice big space, cat boxes for curling up in and things to climb including one which leads to an enclosed outdoor space if they feel like getting some fresh air on the “catio”

The shelter had her spayed and up to date on her shots. They filled us in on all things Tilly, gave us a super care-package including food, treats, a harness and toys and asked us to let them know how Tilly does. Everyone was super there and we had a really good experience, I recommend checking them out if you are looking for a pet! (Due to Covid, they like you to make an appointment in advance) BTW Tilly was a trooper on the way home.

Her space was all set up, with a bed, food, water and cozy places to curl up. Here is what she chose…

I guess the smell of shoes is comforting?

She purrs every time you hold or pet her, she’s playful and cuddly and loves salmon treats (Does that sound like a personal ad for cats?)

Checking out the great outdoors.

If you have a dog, I think you can pretty much read Max’s expression. Let’s just say Max is getting used to sharing “his” couch. #whatthe$%&&haveyoudone?

Here Max has given up all hope of ever having his couch to himself again. LOL! PSA, when you fall in love with a cat, try to fall in love with one the same colour as your existing pet. Just saying’ #lintroller

Back in her cozy spot.

And now, I’d like you to meet someone else…

This is Molly. She is so sweet, I fell madly in love with her! She is 10 years old and has never lived with dogs, so she is looking for a home without them. If it weren’t for that fact, there is no way I would have come home without her too! Isn’t she gorgeous? And she has a personality to match! If you are looking for an absolutely wonderful, senior cat, I would run, not walk to the Grey Bruce Animal Shelter, meet her and fill in an application!

One more picture for the road…

Molly photo-bombed this one. Did I mention I love her?

xxxooo,

Callie

Life is short. Keep them both! I am surprised that it took you this long to get a cat.
