Got this little ditty in my head this week. Wanna know why? You get three guesses and the first two don’t count! Ha, ha. Obv’s I put up some drapes. We had the windows replaced last winter and our wooden blinds no longer fit exactly as they are meant to. Also, sometimes you are ready for a change, amiright? They had been naked so long we kind of got used to it, so it was high time to “dress” the windows. I wanted something light because we have limited light in this room. (You can see some of the many trees and the hedge through the windows.) I chose sheer panels with a subtle stripe and black curtain rods because every room needs a little black (true fact)
This was a quick little update and (as the song says) it only cost about $50. Can you believe it!? I picked up the panels and the curtain rods at Giant Tiger (LOVE Giant Tiger). I was expecting to pick up panels for the usual bargain price of about $10-15 each but these were on sale for $7 each! And the rods you ask? Well, let me tell you my friend because friends don’t keep deals a secret! The rods were on sale for $10 each AND they are at there minimum extension! Crazy good deal!
