Welcome back to styling my coffee table. The third look is a collection of some antiques, mid-century modern pieces and some modern ones. One of the antiques is the wooden box pictured below. It is one of my “curiosities” that I picked up at an auction. Can you guess what it is?

Here, I’ve opened it up for you…

This mystery item is gathered on a large brass tray along with an antique juggling pin and some pretty daffodils in a vintage planter. Any guesses on the mystery item? See below for the answer!

- Antique (Can you guess what this wooden box is?)…It is a …Cigar Press. Here are some similar items: Wood and Brass Box, Cigar Press (primitive), Kerala Box

- Antique Bowling/Juggling Pin Similar Here

At the other end of the table is a 3-wick candle in a dough bowl, a small succulent in a cute planter and a crystal MCM ashtray re-imagined as a candy dish. I enjoy the graphic feel of these 3 shapes put together!

And keeping watch in the background is another auction find that I couldn’t resist!
